  Logo and Corporate Identity Terms of Service

Costs (effective from January the 7th, 2006)

Logo Package Lite is $145 (U.S. dollars).

Logo Package is $195 (U.S. dollars).

Stationery Package is $95 (U.S. dollars).

Corporate Identity Package is $265 (U.S. dollars).

Vectorize Existing Logo Package is $75 (U.S. dollars).

If you order Logo Package Lite you'll receive:

  1. 4 original initial concepts of the Logo.

  2. Revisions till Satisfaction to your Final Logo.

  3. Every package includes digital files (vector and bitmaps) suitable for immediate use with your favorite software, etc.:
    1. .GIF (graphic interfile format),
    2. .JPG (joint professional experts group),
    3. .AI (adobe illustrator),
    4. .EPS (encapsulated postscript),
    5. .CDR (corel draw),
    6. .TIF and
    7. .BMP (bitmapped)

  4. Every package also contains gp.txt file with all the necessary info to use and print your logo.

  5. In case you order Vectorize Existing Logo Package all the file formats you get are the same as for the Logo Package.

  3. Uniformed Letterhead and Envelope based on the choosen business card design.

  4. Every package includes digital files (vector) of Letterhead, Envelope and Business Card suitable for printing in the following formats:
    1. .AI (adobe illustrator),
    2. .EPS (encapsulated postscript),
    3. .CDR (corel draw),
    4. .PDF (portable document format)

  5. Every package also contains gp.txt file with all the necessary info to use and print your logo.

  6. In case you order Corporate Identity Package all the files you get are the same as for the Logo Package and the Stationery Package.

Turnaround Time

We offer two types of development turnaround time: Normal and Urgent.

In the Normal mode, initial design concepts of your logo or/and corporate identity are developed and sent to you, the Customer, in 3 business days. This is the amount of time required to thoroughly research your business and understand all its details before we create your unique design. We may contact you by e-mail for additional details and discussion.

In the Urgent mode (+50% "rush" fee applied) you'll receive initial design concepts in 2 calendar days.

The time for creation of initial design concepts - plus additional time needed for implementation of your approved design (Final Logo) and (if ordered) Stationery - will make up the total time to complete your project (up to 15 calendar days).

Alterations usually require up to 2 business days in the Normal case - and up to 24 hours in the Urgent case - after we receive your input to our project inquiries.

Logo Registration

We don't provide logo registration services. And although our intention is to always design original logo designs, we don't take responsibility for creating a logo which is similar to one already in use. However, if this situation does occur we'll modify your logo free of charge (up to 3 alterations), assuming you notify us about the problem within six months of your payment.

Communication and Delivery

All communication about - and delivery of - completed work will be conducted by e-mail. You agree to confirm receipt of all e-mails from us by sending our company a "receipt" e-mail. This ensures that there is a virtual "paper trail" documenting our communications throughout the process. The completed work will be delivered to you via My ArtisLogo message board.

Payments

We accept payments by:

  • credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx, JCB, Dinners Club);
  • wire transfer.

The Development Process

When the initial design concepts are ready (in 3 business days after your payment) you will receive an e-mail containing your concepts. You should review the concepts, choose one variant (Final Logo or Final Stationery) and advise us about the changes you want us to make.

We'll continue our work on your design to fine-tune it to your liking until you are totally satisfied. The final digital files (GP.zip) are e-mailed to you once the design is completed.

Additional Quotes

In some cases we retain the right to issue an additional quote after receiving payment for a logo; i.e. when you request other custom features which are not part of the stated project plan. You'll be advised if this is relevant to your project, and then have the option of accepting or rejecting this additional expense.

No Liability

In no event ArtisLogo will be liable for suitability, merchantability, or usability of products and services developed and delivered.

Copyright

Final products developed by ArtisLogo are the sole property of the Customer once payment has been made in full. However, the initial concepts remain our property. We have the right to place products developed on the portfolio page of our web site.

Termination and "On Hold" Policies

You can ask us to put a design "on hold" at any time, then resume its development within 3 months of your payment. If you don't resume the project within 3 months you should pay USD95 activation fee to change the status of your project from "On Hold" to "Active".

If the client halts work or applies by registered letter for a refund, USD75 will be deducted from the initial payment, the balance of which shall be returned to the client in 3 business days after receiving the letter. In case the client make the choice of the final logo or stationery no refund is available.

Miscellaneous

These Terms of Service are the complete Agreement between ArtisLogo and the Customer. This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements or promises made by ArtisLogo's representatives that differ in any way from these Terms and Conditions.

Any modifications of this Agreement must be in writing signed by the party or parties to be bound by modifications.

Any notices required under this Agreement must be delivered in person, mailed (properly addressed and with postage prepaid), faxed or e-mailed to the party entitled to receive the notice.

The Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold ArtisLogo harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against ArtisLogo, its agents, Customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by the Customer, its agents, employees or assigns.

The Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ArtisLogo against liabilities arising out of:

(1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with ArtisLogo;

(2) any material supplied by Customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party and (3) copyright infringement.

The Customer agrees to limit the liability of ArtisLogo to the amount paid for service. This Agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the USA. Venue for litigating any dispute under this Agreement shall be in the appropriate court in Washington, D.C., USA.
